how to open a .sit folder

hey guys.. i downloaded a .sit file and the mac wont recognize it.... any way to open it?

go grab a copy of sutffit expander

apples been slowly moving away from .sit

Download stuffit. You can google for it or search the forums. I'm sure someone posted this before.

Edit: I'm too slow and Ben is a lot more informative than me

You can unstuff it with Stuffit Expander, which you can download here.

Edit: I'm slower than Ben too but at least I'm more informative than Grapes.

There are a number of very user-friendly tools to open .sit files, for example iArchiver.
