How to open icc profiles in SuperCal and change the gamma?

I downloaded JC Display profile and I like it a lot but I find it a little bit too dark (gamma 2.6 and I want to change it to gamma of 2.2). The owner of JC Display profile said in a post to get SuperCal and open the profile if a person wants to change the gamma. The problem is for some reason I cannot open the profile on SuperCal and change the gamma. I didn't pay $20, I am just trying SuperCal out. Is there any other way to change gamma or am I doing something wrong (wrong way of opening colour calibration profiles)?
