Just moved everything over from a mid-2015 MBP to an M1 MBP 16", connected to an LG UW curved 35WN65CI monitor (bought in a pinch from Costco when our old 27" Thunderbolt Display died) via HDMI to HDMI cable (only cable I have on-hand that connects on both sides). Have a TB4 Satechi dock that connect 3 old printers/scanners. I work remotely by logging into a Windows desktop on a Dell laptop sitting in an office.

On the MBP, the remote screen text is crisp and clear and beautiful. Not as much on my external monitor. It's okay, but I have super-sensitive eyes, and it's just not like my old TB display. I'm mirroring the displays, optimized for the LG, at 3440 x 1440. I actually prefer 27" and may splurge on the Studio Display or something similar. But before I do that, I want to make sure I have this optimized to be as good as it gets.

Would a Display Port to TB4 cable make an appreciable difference? There is no TB port on the monitor.
