I use a MiniG4 as my media machine and I have a 1TB external connected to it to hold my movies. Over the last nyear or so I've downloaded a LOT of movies, but they are .AVI's and iTunes does not accept this format. So it leaves me with a ton of files (173) with file names that are not exactly 'neat'.
Example: The movie is "21" yet the filename is "21.R5.LiNE.XViD-pukka [btarena.org]".
Anyone have any thoughts on a terminal script to rename files and/or ideas on how to organize movies? I am leaning towards alphabetical, but doing it by Genre might be more appropriate if I do it right. Help?
