How to Organize Photos by Face

i know we can organize photos by face on our iphones but how?
can it be done from the phone itself or do we need software?
if so, is there software for pc that'll help me accomplish this?

This is a feature of iPhoto or Aperture on the Mac which have automatic face recognition - it's not the iPhone that does the recognition.

I know some programs on the PC also do face recognition, but I'm not sure if these are directly compatible with iTunes for automatic syncing.

Yeah, I took would like to know if there is any PC application that is compatible with faces for iPhone.
