How can I password protect a applications system folder? I want to password protect it so the application can still use it but it has a separate password from my Administrator password. I have tried some programs like Machider, but they refuse to protect system folders. Is this possible? I am running Mavericks.

You can make them invisible perhaps, other than that I can think of no method and no real reason to do so if you have your account password. Can always make a new gust account using parental controls. I use that at school and it's not breakable.
