How to pay a song at a faster/slower speed

Is there a program I need (or already have) that will allow me to play a song and or take an exisitng song and play it at .5 the speed... or maybe 1.5x or 2x the speed?

If you're referring to music in iTunes, or any file type QuickTime can handle, BitPlayer can do what you want. It can even play songs (and videos) backwards at 0.5x speed!

Duff-Man says....if you are looking to slow it down without changing the pitch and you want really decent quality, have a look at Amazing Slow Downer and/or TimeToy (there is a free "lite" version and a shareware "pro" version....oh yeah!

Wow TimeToy is a great app! It's fun just to play around with it.
