How to permanently resize the Finder window in Catalina?

I don't know if I'm the only one with this problem but I tried virtually every advice I could find on Google including resizing the window while holding the Option button.

This works as long as the Finder thread is still in the background. Then every time I open Finder again the window size is like I set it before.

But after a restart of Finder (for example after a restart of my Mac Mini) it will always have this very small default size.

Any advice on this or someone with the same problem?

If your resize a window then relaunch Finder it will stay that way but I don’t think it will after a reset...
