Hi -- I know this is a stupid question, but can anyone tell me how to play an mp3 CD? A friend gave me one and it won't play in my stereo (too old) -- and when it's inserted into my powerbook, it just shows up with the audio files organized into folders (in Finder) but doesn't show up in iTunes. I'd love to hear the playlist if possible...

Thanks.

Well, if you double click the files they will start playing in quicktime. If you want them in iTunes just drag then there.

Looking for the mix though...

Hi Yippy,

Thanks for your reply... I should have been more clear. I know how to play the music files, and how to import them into iTunes, but if possible I'd like to play the CD in the order intended by my friend (ie how it would sound if I put it into a CD player that played mp3 CDs... in other words I want the playlist, not just the files.

MP3 cds dont really have an order, its just a bunch of mp3s in a folder. Most of the time they play in the order the files are burnt to cd which is usally alphabetical order.
