I just picked up some high quality head phones (finally) and have been trying to play higher quality tracks on my iphone.
i have vlc installed, and through itunes you can go to the app section, and at the bottom you can add files straight to the vlc app. it works for adding movies and what not, and gives the capability to add flac files however they do not show up in vlc on the actual phone.
the files are being loaded onto the phone though, and being added to the vlc subfolder since they are recognized in itunes.

is there any way to play flac files on the iphone?
my phone is jailbroken and ive looked through cydia. found a package titled flac but doesnt do anything (from what i can see).

thanks in advance.

You need to convert the files to apple lossless in order to play them on your iPhone, i don't know if there is a application that will let you play .flac files directly on the iPhone.

Hope this helps.
