How to play .rar file at MacbookPro?

I've got .rar file from my friend, I would like to know how would i be able to open a .rar file in Mac OS? Thanks a lot.

You don't "play" a .rar file, it's a compressed file (like .zip files). You need a rar extractor to extract files from the .rar file.

UnRarX is what I use.
