I just got my I-touch. I am trying to upload audio file (.wma) but it just not working. is there away to load this type audio file on to my i-touch?
does anyone have some sort of solution?

WMA on Ipod touch

Convert to MP3. Your crappy, lossy, and proprietary format is not supported.

TEG

Umm, Mac is just as bad... trying enabling "disk mode" in your new Ipod touch. Oh, that is right... Apple locked that out so your forced to use their crappy, "lousy", proprietary iTunes. I would have never bought a new iPod if i had known about this little slice of heaven beforehand. Oh well, live and learn I guess.

You are comparing two different things. .mp3 has nothing to do with OS X or iTunes. MP3 is the desired format for most music files. Does Amazon sell MP3's... or WMAs....?

Agreed

While I would agree with you that mp3 is certainly the prefered format for music. I was simply making the point that Apple can be just as guilty of making things "proprietary" as the jokers at MS. Just a little jab at the people who drink the "Apple Koolaid" and look the other way at similar practices from Apple. :D
