Nope. just that sometimes i am download something but doesn't want my lid to be opened

Don't have my MBA readily available to test, but I think it depends on what you're downloading. Power Nap allows you to continue to download from the App Store for example.

Hmm. i thought even when lid close no matter wat sort of settings there are, it will still go to sleep?

Have anybody tested whether it works on OS X Lion on the mid 2012 MBA?

Cause they don't seem to work on early 2011 version of MBP.

InsomniaX version 2.0.1 works just fine with Mountain Lion and w/Power Nap enabled on my mid 2011 MBA.

I don't know about InsomniaX but Caffeine doesn't work when you close the lid......

InsomniaX turns off the screen when you close the lid but apps continue working.

i have NoSleepHelper. i just get a little Zz in the top bar, if i click it then close the lid it stays running but turns the screen off.

Caffeine will temporarily override your energy saver settings and keep your Mac awake with a click on the Menu Bar icon. Another click turns it off. It will not keep your Mac awake with the lid closed.

To keep your MBP awake with the lid closed, use InsomniaX or InsomniaT (rebuild for SL) (fix for 2011 MPBs)

NoSleep also keeps your Mac notebook awake when you close the lid.
