Hi, since watch OS 10 update I have been finding this annoying behaviour, when I am in the gym and listening music with my airpods pro, whenever I am close to my iphone which I always keep in the locker, the AW music app stops and start playing on my iphone.

Is there any way to prevent this? when I am working out I dont have my iphone on me and I only want to listen music via my AW. Thanks

On the phone go to the Bluetooth settings, find your AirPods, change the setting “Connect to this iPhone” from Automatic.

Yes this I have changed already but it seems is buggy in watchOS10

I haven’t installed Watch OS 10 yet so can’t try this, sorry. Hopefully someone else can chime in.

You better don't is prob the worst update apple has ever released. Battery drain is also very high.

Thanks, yeah that’s why I’m avoiding it - the battery life thing seems crazy. There always seem to be some complaints but I’ve never seen so many as in this instance.
