How can I print a list of the fonts on my system? Font Book doesn't seem to have a "Print" option, so is there something I am missing, or is there another utility for doing that?

The tools at http://developer.apple.com/fonts/OSXTools.html might help, depending on what you want. The ftxinstalledfonts command it includes will give you a basic font listing.

If you want to print a list that shows what all the fonts look like as well, try FontParade. Tis free. And you get a list of all your fonts, and an example of what they look like. Here's an example (the names of the fonts are on the left hand side):
