how to print text only in Safari or Firefox

Ok my wife is telling me that you can select to print text only on a pc when you are viewing a web page. Is there an easy way to do this with Safari or Firefox? I know you can hit Shift+Command+4 and select an area and it will save to the desktop but I was wondering if there is another way to do it by highlighting the text you want to print. Thanks!
