How to program mouse buttons for keyboard shortcuts

We are using TwinMotion 2019 for architectural visualization, and unfortunately the software is cumbersome to use with an Apple Magic Mouse, as it is built for a 3-button mouse. In order to service our clients in the best possible way, and as smoothly as possible, I am looking for two things.

1. A recommendation of the best wireless 3 (or more) button mouse for my specific purpose

2. A way that I can program a mouse button for a keyboard/mouse shortcut (i.e. shift+middle mouse button) so I can click the button and have it perform that command instead of also having to press a keyboard key

The mouse will only be used for TwinMotion. The rest of the time our Apple Magic Mouse will be used.

I use and like SteerMouse.
