I have just found out that I've been pronouncing it incorrectly. I've been saying Siri with both the of the letter i in the name pronounced as the short version with the emphasis on the first syllable. However for the first time I've just heard the disembodied voice out our collective gender fluid assistant pronounce her/his own name!
It's pronounced with the second i extra long so it sounds like Siree with the emphasis on the the second syllable.
