I've installed a Asus xonar U5 on my mac mini 2014, the sound card says it needs no drivers or software when on mac, so I just plugged in, the computer recognized it, and I connected my 4 speakers, at first it worked as a 2.0 system, them I opened the MIDI and audio configuration and set this device as a 4.0 audio, now all the speaker works correctly, but... whenever I set the volume up or down on system or on the card it only changes the front speakers, the back speakers are kept at a constant volume so I need to change direct on the speakers itself.

I am doing something wrong or is this default macOS behavior and there is no way to adjust the volume of all 4 speakers at the same time?
