Hello.
I just thought about how to handle my Apps and other content in case of a re-install on the main machine.
For example: I have a Mac, which I use to connect to the iTunes Store and download Apps, which are stored in "User/Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications".
I also use an iPod Touch do download Apps in the App Store.
The Apps on both sides (Mac and iPod) are daily synchronized, so that a copy of one App on the Mac is also on the iPod and vice versa.
But what if I have to reinstall my Mac OS X on the Mac.
Can I simply copy the folder back to the same place? And every App will show again in iTunes and be syncable to the iPod?
And what about the purchased items?
Thanks for any input.
PS: Why is the iPod Touch Guide in this forum called a guide if it only lists the specs and differences between iPod and iPhone?
