So I'm selling my iPad2 and iPhone4s in preparation for the new iPad Mini and am having trouble wiping my iPhone. I go into Setting and Reset and hit Erase All Settings (The top option) on both the ipad and iphone. The iPad reset back to factory and is now at the configuration screen (What I want) but the iphone shows the loading bar and does its thing, resets, and goes back to my home screen with my apps still there even. How do I get the iphone to show the configuration screen as well? Thanks!

Plug it to iTunes and hit restore. Setup as new.
Don't restore from your backup.

Thanks

I'm actually pretty far from a laptop right now, and may have a guy that wants it. Any way to do it without other than hitting the apple store and doing it on one of their store models?

Figured out why it wasn't resetting properly. Had to remove my sim card. Then once I reset it was as new. Thanks!
