I'm planning on factory reseting my iphone because of cache and storage issues, and then restore from an iCloud Backup, I did that before when needed, but now I have an apple watch paired to it and never done it on that circunstancies, so how should I proceed while doing it? can I just factory reset the iPhone and when I restore the iCloud Backup the watch will automatically re-pair itself, or should I take some extra steps with the watch to not mess things up (aka, lose all my settings in watch or need to reset it too)? what is the proper way to reset the iPhone if I have an Apple watch paired to it?

I’ve just paired it to my new phone and let it do it’s own thing. But I believe if they are both on the current iOS update and watch then I believe you can just pair it back like nothing happened.

Unpair Apple Watch. Reset your iPhone. After competing restore, re-pair Apple Watch.
Or your Apple Watch will NOT sync with restored iPhone.
Learned this the hard way a couple times.

This, and backup your phone after unpairing the watch and before resetting the phone…
