I used the iMazing method to install a few iOS apps on my M1 MBP. Specifically, I wanted to try the official gmail app since it's not available to download through the normal channels. It installs and worked, sort of, and now it's clear why it's now allowed to be downloaded normally. Basic functions such as scrolling and using tab to select an autocompleted email don't work. So, I want to delete it.
If I go into launchpad and long press, it doesn't delete. If I go into the application folder, delete it and empty the trash, it's still installed somewhere because I'm still getting incoming mail notifications, even though it’s no longer listed in system prefs, notifications.
For now, to stop the notifications, I reinstalled it and then turned off notifications.
