How to pull pictures out of MMS?

I have a quick question, and my searching didn't turn up an answer.

I'd like to know if there is a way to pull all of the pictures stored in Messages (in the form of MMS messages) into the photo gallery or onto my macbook without manually going through them.

Are they saved elsewhere on the phone in some accessible spot? Does there exist a program I might use to pull them?
