How to put image space back to main partition?

Not so long ago I read a way to create a password protected image. So I did. 4.7 Gigs that I can mount and un-mount when I want to. Space was taken from my main HDD partition with OSX.

Now how can I put this space back to my main partition cuz I simply do not need to use that image any more. No matter what I did I can still see dmg file on my HDD.
