I just deleted my Mail.app with cleanup from my mac 10.6.8! when I want to
I use the bundle apps from my snow leopard DVD(10.6.3)
re-install it I get this error:
These applications are either already installed on your computer or this computer is not compatible with this disc. Make sure you're using the installation discs that came with your computer.

Mail isn't on the Applications DVD, as it's a part of the core system. Use the Mac OS X Install DVD instead, and reinstall OS X (or use Pacifist to extract Mail from the DVD).

It sounds like maybe you are using one of the grey discs that came with another Mac and not yours? Those are tied to a specific model machine.
