Hey guys,

I've been trying to install XP on my iMac. It's been getting really frustrating so I'd like to put it all how it was and try again later.

Thing is, I created a partition for XP using bootcamp. How do I "put it back where it was".

Sorry for my english
Thank you

I went to the Disk Utility as instructed, erased it in format "Mac OSX EXtended (journaled) which is the same format of the original one.

It's still separate.

Where did you find the instruction to go to Disk Utility?
I wrote Boot Camp Assistant(BCA), the manual I linked to says this on page 22:

Run Bot Camp Assistant again to delete the Windows partition and append it to the Mac OS X partition.

Now BCA will not work though, you might need to boot from the Restore DVD, the one your Mac came with, and run Disk Utility from there to see, if you can delete the second partition and enlarge the first one, the one where Mac OS X resides on.

Guide on how to use Disk Utility from the restore / installation DVD.
