One of the drives on my RAID went bad. I was told I could swap it with an identical drive and I did with the same size and brand. Now I'm trying to figure out how to rebuild it so that it works with the new one. I've searched and read something about an "automatic rebuild" but not sure if it's with Disk Utility or what. I've tried Disk Warrior but it picks it up as "Unknown disk" and I can't access it.

BUT what's bothering me is that the RAID is showing up as "offline" and I can't add the new one to rebuild. I also found this:
Do a control-f on startup to get into the RAID utility
Select DELETE RAID (4) - don't worry, deleting the RAID does not delete the data - this sets both drives to Free
Now, select Auto COnfigure RAID (1)
AFter the RAID is rebuilt, you should be able to reboot.
Sounds ideal, but the "offline" thing is bothering me.
Thanks for any help
