hi guys. how am i going to set-up my itouch on receiving emails?

is there an application?

i will really appreciate any assistance.

thanks.

there is an email app already on the iPod Touch. its a picture of an envelope on a blue background. i think you go to setting, mail, add new account or somethin like that. its really simple to use but the mail app doesnt support Hotmail

Is your iPod touch a new one or old one?
If it's one of the new ones (chrome bezel) then it's got the Mail app built in.
If it's an original (gunmetal gray bezel) then it could be without the mail app that was released as an optional purchase shortly after it's release, and can be added by upgrading to version 2.0 of the iPod OS (not sure if the original add-on pack is still available but if it is you could also get that)

i am using the 2nd gen itouch. i already set-up on settings menu. but everytime i click the mail icon this prompt always appears on the screen "cannot get mail, username and password is incorrect"

you probly made a mistake when typing in your email address or password. re enter your information

thanks. btw, another question. if someone send email from my yahoo account will i be receiving it on my itouch?

thanks

your welcome. yes, it will go to your Yahoo email first and when you open up mail and refresh it, the email will be synced to your iPod

how am i going edit my incorrect username and password so that i can finally read my emails from yahoo using my itouch?

thanks

go to settings, then go to mail, contacts, calendars, then go to your Yahoo account and you can edit the information there

hi again. everythings working well already. thanks alot for us help.

sorry i'm quite annoying. i shouldn't asked the last question. i should have used my common sense. i'm a bit impatient when i want something that has to be done.

thanks again.
