and I don't mean iMessage or texts forwarded from iPhones, I mean the texts sent to iPad

By default, every LTE iPad (att/T-Mobile) have a number associated with the plan, and this number CAN receive texts (if you put the sim in a mobile hotspot device, you can see the texts).
But how can I receive texts sent to this SIM card when it's in my iPad?

Thanks

Not sure t.b.h.

I've been sending and receiving calls and texts via Ipad-previuosly macbook pro.

All I know is my Ipad can see and uses same wifi broadband network as IPhone.

It can be a bit fidly, though there are lots of guides via google search etc.

Maybe another forum poster can asdvise you the steps.

I'ts this very feature thats delaying my Ipad air to Ipad pro upgrade as cost seem to have risen consideribly if choosing a data+wifi Ipad pro.
