Hello,
I'm trying to record my screen with quicktime capture but it doesn't capture the audio. Is there a way that it would capture both, please? Thank you

Click on the little white triangle to set the incoming audio source.
that allows me to choose the microphone which would then record audio from around the computer but I actually want to record the system audio.
I have a lecture recorded with notes and its a pain to always stop and rewind etc. so if i record it then it will be easier to follow the notes.
I've been using iShowU but it has got low framerate (even when i set it to 24fps) so quicktime seems to record better but the audio is missing :(

You need to use something like Soundflower or Audio Hijack to record the computer audio output.

what if you want to do Audio WITH Video, soundflower only option? Even to buy, soundflower doesn't seem to have alot of options. Did Apple want us to record video w / no audio from the web or something?
