No that doesn't work. My SMS.db file is completely empty. I haven't synced the phone with iTunes in months.. My messages just randomly disappeared one morning.. And I can't locate the file that is suppose to contain the text messages. Any help? Thanks

if you backup your phone in itunes. you can right mouse click and restore from. but remember if you restore from a previous backup you will lose everything from backup point to present.

if you havent backed up in a while and that file is empty i dont know if there is anything else you can do. sorry
