Hi everyone,

Not sure if you've noticed, but Chrome on our operating system likes to throw its own notifications instead of using OS X's Notification Center. If you're at all like me, then there's a chance this has been getting on your nerves for quite some time. I notice the annoyance every time I receive a Gmail notification

I'm posting because I wrote a SIMBL extension about a month ago that serves to redirect Chrome notifications directly to the operating system, and I wanted to share this with you all, in case you're interested in installing this on your Mac. I wasn't originally going to post it around, but I've been told it really helps the Chrome experience on Macs, and so I might as well spread it around!

The link to the extension is here, if you want to jump directly to it: https://github.com/mathcolo/RadonChrome/blob/master/README.md

Detailed installation instructions, tested on Yosemite with Chrome 40:

1. First install EasySIMBL (scroll down and you'll see a download link).

2. Download the extension from its page over on GitHub.

3. Go ahead and unzip the download, and drag/drop the .bundle into EasySIMBL's window. Make sure "Use SIMBL" is checked.

4. Restart Chrome, and give notifications a try! :)

If this helped make your Chrome experience better, I'm glad! I'd love to get feedback on what more I might be able to do as well. Thanks a lot everyone, feel free to let me know if you have issues.
