I have a spoken word recording with some popping "P" sounds. I know these can be avoided during the recording process, but what about editing them out of an existing recording? Does anyone know of a way?

If you have a program like Audacity (free download), you can select a very brief section of the recording that includes only the "pop," which would look like a spike in the waveform. Then reduce the volume of that section. We're talking about only a tiny fraction of a second, here.

Ok great, thank you very much. I forgot to say I am using Garageband, and I can lower the sound for the pops using Garageband.
