I accidentally deleted the recovery partition when I did a clean install of OS X Mavericks, and I am wondering how I get it back?

I did search, but I found nothing or I missed a thread that could have had the answer in it.

I want to make sure I have a recovery partition, because as soon as OS X Yosemite is released I will be doing a fresh install of that.

Any help will be greatly appreciated, and much thanks in advance!

Thanks again. :apple:

Maybe different for Mavericks, but in 2012, when I replaced my HDD with an SSD, I cloned my clone to the new SSD, ergo, lost recovery partition. If I recall correctly, I reinstalled the OS and got the recovery partition back.

So, maybe hit the app store and redownload & install.

Read the details -
I found when I put in a SSD to my MBP 2009 - that I couldn't put one on my MBP, but I could do on my Carbon Copy Clone drive. Worth reading all the details on what to do. Good luck, and backup :)
