How to reject a friend request on MacRumors?

i have a friend request on my notification.

and have clicked on the "reject from request from ..." then press the "save changes" button

but that does nothing, i have tried so many times....but the request is still there.

is there another way that im missing?

You have to check the box next to the user first. I do this mistake all the time.
