how to reload an AU plugin In DP???????

Digital performer automatically loads new au plugins when it opens. I tried to load an AU demo plugin and it crashed in the middle of loading because my computer wasn't connected to the internet at the time and it needed conformation from the company. I reloaded the AU plugin to my computer and DP just overlooks it because it crashed the first time. Does anyone know how to make Digital performer re-consider the Plugin so I can use it?
