Hi,
I edited a Final Cut X project with files referenced from several shoot days with a PHOTOS folder on my desktop with dated folders of each shoot day including still images and video:
Subfolders in the MEDIA folder were ordered in a dated format yyyymmdd_StoryName. In the subfolder is a MOVIES subfolder containing all the movie clips I shot that day.
e.g. PHOTOS>20221203_MARATHON>MOVIES would be a typical folder structure.
However, I moved all the folders to a folder named 2022 on an external SSD so when I went into Library Properties in FCP and pointed Storage Location to my external SSD with 2022 as a top level folder FCP X cannot find the files.
Do you know what went wrong? I have the same subfolder structures but just changed SSD name and 2022 folder from PHOTOS Desktop name. What went wrong?
