How to remove a bad email address?

i use a Mojave iMac, an SE iphone, an 10.5” iPad Pro, when i address emails, i keep getting a few addresses that i want to trash. Trouble is i cant find where the address is stored so i can delete the bad addresses that wont go away?

Where are all the storage locations for contact addresses?

Open your Mail app. Click on the top menu item "Window". Then click on "Previous Recipients". Remove those that you no longer want.

Thank you, found a lot I needed to trash. They weren't in the cloud, just there.
