I just got a Belkin Snap Shield Case, it looks great. I put it on my iPad right away to see if it fits, and indeed it does. However, I've noticed some dust and finger prints on the inside of the case, so I'd like to clean it. What's the best way to remove the case without breaking it? It looks pretty tight

Start with pushing the retaining 'notches' on the side facing the Smart Cover opening - push free one corner, then work the other loose before pulling the iPad out. If you're using an iPad 3 with the newest version... this should work. If you're one of the people who shoved it into an iPad 2 version... well, good luck.

It says "3rd generation" on the box. Still, it seems really tight and I just don't want the corners to crack.

Start easy - use your thumbs to carefully push back the retaining tab in the upper left corner, then move down to the lower left. You just have to push it back enough for it to slip over the edge and then down off the iPad. It shouldn't feel like it's about to crack when you do this - slowly ease it back off the iPad on those two corners, and the rest should slide off readily enough. Work from those two tabs - not the long edge.

1. Carefully lay out a white towel on a clean, empty table.
2. Place the iPad over the towel with the back side facing down.
3. Carefully work the top left edge of the snap case, back and forth.
4. Gather up all the broken pieces of the snap case that have just fallen into the towel.

;)
