Hi all

In my Safair bookmarks on my iPhone there are 2 folders at the top called 'Bookmarks Bar' and 'Bookmarks Menu'. I use neither of these, so they are just cluttering up space, but when I click 'edit' it won't let me delete them or move them to the bottom of the list.

Can someone please guide me through how to remove them?

Many thanks

Michael.

You're syncing your bookmarks from your desktop Safari. Those folders are from there. In iTunes, select your iPhone and then turn off your Bookmarks syncing.

I have the same problem and think the OP is trying to remove just that folder (leave syncing in the state it's in) - i can't seem to do it either and no mac guru knows the answer either without having to do some super complex combo manoeuvres..

Don't you just delete it in Safari on your Mac? Then sync.

I'm not using a Mac, this is Windows 7. There is no option in iTunes to sync (or not sync) bookmarks. I don't even use Safari.

This is just a guess but have you tried deleting everything in the folder's manually and then delete the folder once it's empty?

There's nothing in the folders, they are completely empty. They can't be moved or deleted from the iPhone like all my other folders can.
