I subscribe to Apple Music. When I go to open the Music App it will ask Apple ID verification for the password for an email account that is not mine. Even though I chose not now in the pop-up window it will come up again and again. Under Settings | Accounts my correct email address is associated with iCloud. I have removed the offending email address in Settings | General | Previously used-emails.
I've signed out of iCloud and signed back in and have restarted AppleTv which didn't help.

Any suggestions on how to remove the request for Apple ID verification after opening the Music app is appreciated.

Is the "wrong" AppleID familiar to you?
Or, is it completely wrong, and you have no idea where it came from?
If it is one that you know (and use for other purposes), but don't use it with your AppleTV, then you may be able to sign in to that account, through https://support.apple.com/apple-id , where you can sign in to that AppleID. You may have your AppleTV listed as an authorized device for that AppleID. You could try removing your AppleID from the device list under that "wrong" account.
(Sign in to your "correct" AppleID account, and make sure your AppleTV is listed as an authorized device.)

If your AppleTV is "registered" to that unneeded AppleID, then can you log in to that AppleID, and remove that AppleID from the list of authorized devices?
If not, (or you cannot log in to that AppleID), then you may need to contact Apple's AppleID support for help with that.
You can start here - https://support.apple.com/apple-id
Do you know how to login to that AppleID account?

It isn't registered to the unneeded Apple ID. I don't know how to login to that ID. I will see if Apple Support can help.

I don't know if this will help:
If that is an old AppleID, and it belongs to you, you can get the password reset - again, you have to go through the AppleID support page to get information about doing that reset. Just use the area on the support page "Forgot your Password?" That will take you through the steps to do just that. You will need the answers to your security questions from when you set up that AppleID.

I'm glad this came up because i have the same problem.. When i go into Apple it says "wrong Apple ID? dialog ever now and then while trying to navigate in my already signed in account..

Its not incorrect, as it only happens on Apple music.. Signing out and siging back in doesn't fix it either.
