How to remove pending iOS 8.0.1 from iPhone 6

Hi Folks,

I wonder if someone would be able to help. I downloaded 8.0.1 to my iPhone 6. I opted not to install it for good reason, however the install is still pending. I was hoping to be able to update to 8.0.2 today however the previous iteration is there. Anyone any idea how I can get rid of it. Reboot of phone doenst appear to help. Thanks....

settings --> general --> usage --> under storage click manage storage --> click on the update --> click delete
