How to remove search in 3.0?

I don't care for the voice notes, but I that doesn't mean I'll be upset because I cannot remove it. I'll just not use it and with that, I offer the same advice - just don't use it.
 
If you press the home button twice, it takes you to it...I dislike that.

For some reason, I cannot log into the appstore on my iphone now, but I can on itunes on my PC.

It says incorrect password, but i've tried multiple times.
 
I used to like quickly getting to my home screen by swiping to the right a few times....

Now I have to press the home button "once" but with my mushy 3gs button, it usually things it has been pressed twice and takes me to the spotlight anyway...

yes its annoying...

So press it a 3rd time and get back to the home screen ;)

Btw, you can't change this, if you're talking about what I think you are. The settings are just for home button double click.

I press it 2, sometimes 3 times...on habit...it stil goes to search. Shrug, annoying...I guess i'll have to live with it.
 
You can disable it by SSH into your iphone and grep the string SearchBundles. There's a plist with Search and defines the bundles. Set it to <false/>. I saw this on another forum, trying to find the link.
