I have an adware problem called Trovi. I tried googling how to get rid of it, but nothing has worked so far. I restored both Firefox and Safari (the only two browsers I use to their defaults and deleted Trovi from the list of search engines, but it still appears every time I open a new page. I was surprised that I didn't find a thread about it on MacRumors. If anyone knows how to get rid of it, I would really appreciate it. I have a 2009 MBP running 10.8.4.

Thanks!

1. Install Avast or ClamXav and do a scan of your system.
2. Upgrade to Yosemite.
