How do I get multiple finder windows to reopen in the same position on the screen?
The finder windows I want to reopen do reopen, but they are misplaced on the screen and not in the working positions I shut down in, so after every reboot I have to reposition them.
Any way to address that?
TIA
John

Hold the cmd key before opening a Finder window, then move it to your desired position on the screen. Next time you open the window it will remember where you put it.
Does this method Addison work for mail, safari etc?

Thanks, that worked! I'll see if it continues to work on subsequent re-openings without <cmd> input
