hi, i want to create partition to install windows but it failed saying that the verification fail and i need to repair my startup disk. I opened disk utility and it said that to repair startup disk, start up from Mac OS X Install disc CD or DVD then choose Utilities> Disk Utility. How exactly to do that? I tried booting my MBP with the install disc 1 inside, without doing anything. Nothing happen. I tried booting while holding C button but thats for re-install mac os, no option Utilities>Disk Utility.. Anyone can help?

Once you get to where you would begin to reinstall OS X, look in the menu bar for Utilites --> Disk Utility.
Then run it just as you would from the OS.
Then run it just as you would from the OS.
