Anyone know how to reset the LaunchPad? All the articles online are outdated and wrong. They all refer to a Library/Applications Support/Dock folder that doesn't exist. Or they give a terminal command that no longer works. I can't find anything current.

My problem is I inadvertently removed an app from LaunchPad. And now I can't add it back in. Dragging the app to the LaunchPad app on the Dock does nothing. I've done a reboot in case, with no effect.

Now I'm ready to nuke the LaunchPad to defaults and try again. But I can't find any info on this that's relevant to macOS 15 or Apple Silicon.

The same old command works, give Full Disk Access to Terminal :
Code:
defaults write com.apple.dock ResetLaunchPad -bool true; killall Dock
