i do not know how to explain My time machine has two portion, one is the back up which is the backup done by time machine software. and second data portion which i store by drag and drop on it

I do not want to delete the drag and drop portion however i want delete the auto backup portion.

Please advise how to do it

First turn off Time Machine. Then open Finder then click on the Time Capsule at the lower left to mount it. Then double click in the drive to view it. You will see a file there that is the same name as your Macbook. So if in the sharing pane in System Prefs your Mac is called Salah Mac... the file name will be Salah Mac for example.

Just select that file then hit the command and delete keys to delete it. It will take a few minutes to delete.

Then go back to Time Machine and turn it back on and select the Time Capsule to start a new backup.
