How to restore an individual iPad 1 app from backup to iPad mini?

I have an iPad 1 backup on MobileSync/Backup, and want to restore the data for a specific application to the iPad mini, which is already set and running with its own applications. It seems that I have to wipe the ipad mini and restore the whole ipad 1 data, thus can't effectively merge different apps from different backups. Any way to do that? I don't have JailBreak.

Nevermind, I solved it with iTools. Backed up every app individually to an ipa with app+records. Then reset to factory, restored old iTunes backup and did the same again for the other apps. Now I have all apps on the computer with its corresponding data and don't rely on partially implemented backup solutions.
